Dr. Sultan Al Maskari, a luminary in the field of orthopedic surgery, holds the esteemed position of Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Head of Orthopaedics at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH) in Oman. Renowned for his visionary leadership, Dr. Al Maskari founded the orthopaedic department at SQUH in 2008, marking a pivotal moment in the enhancement of orthopedic services. His earlier contributions include the establishment of the Limb Reconstruction Unit at Khoula Hospital in 2003.

• Independently handles complex upper and lower extremity trauma, including DCO and definitive fixation.
• Experience with knee arthroscopy and capable of handling various intraarticular knee pathologies, including ACL reconstruction.
• Experience with shoulder arthroscopy and capable of performing diagnostic shoulder arthroscopy + Subacromial decompression.
• Management of pediatric orthopedic conditions, including Clubfoot, DDH, CP, and lower limb rotational deformities.
• Independently manages complex Pelvic/Acetabular Trauma, including assessment, preoperative planning, surgery, and post-op follow-up.
• First Assistant Experience in Primary, Complex Primary, and Revision Arthroplasty of the Hip and Knee.
